How do I order a cake?

Send your date, ideas, and location through the enquiry form or by email. I'll confirm availability and guide you through the design. Or feel free to call 020 7278 6872 to discuss your order. Wedding consultations can take place via Zoom.

 


 

How much notice do you need?

Book 2–4 weeks ahead for celebration cakes and 3–6 months for wedding cakes. Last minute orders can be accommodated, dependant on availability.

 


 

Do you require a deposit?

Yes — a 50% deposit secures your booking. The balance is due 7 days before collection or delivery. Orders placed within 7 days before collection will require a payment in full.

 


 

What flavours do you offer?

A range of classic and signature flavours, including vanilla, chocolate, lemon, red velvet, carrot, and more. Cake flavours are accompanied with a selection of regular and seasonal fillings – buttercreams, ganache and preserves.

 


 

Do you make vegan, nut-free or gluten free cakes?

Yes — vegan, nut-free and gluten free options are available. However, all cakes are made in a kitchen that handles allergens.

 


 

How much do your cakes cost?

Pricing depends on size and design. I'll provide a quote once I know your ideas and guest numbers.

How many people will my cake serve?

I'll recommend the right size based on your event and portion style (party or dessert).

 


 

Do you deliver?

Yes — across Islington, Camden, King's Cross, North London and London wide. Delivery fees vary by location.

 


 

Can I collect my cake?

Yes — collection is available by appointment from the Delights Kitchen.

 


 

How should I store my cake?

Keep it cool, dry and away from sunlight. Buttercream cakes can be refrigerated; fondant cakes should not be. Your cake will include information about storage before and after you serve your cake, as well as a cutting guide.

 


 

Do you provide cake stands or props?

Cake stands can be hired for weddings and events. A refundable deposit is required.

 


 

What is your cancellation policy?

Deposits are usually non refundable. If you need to cancel, please contact me as soon as possible. In some cases, your deposit may be transferred to a future date.

 


 

Can I change my order?

Minor changes can be made up to 7 days before your event. Major design changes may incur additional costs.
